Am I Not Worth More Than The Birds?
In life, we often come across a series of various challenges that may disrupt our peace of mind. It could be an exam that may decide your career but you fall sick on the day of the exam, it could be your favorite product that fulfills all your basic needs but you are indebted to someone, or it could even be a relationship that you are fighting to win but you don’t know if it is meant for you. These are just some common examples as it would be exhaustive if we go on listing everything.
Each and everything in life is connected one way or the other. For instance; when we have a rewarding career, we'd be able to independently handle life by meeting the basic needs, contributing to the needy, and even getting married.
After all, it's the will of God that lasts, and only His plans get executed no matter what may hinder your life’s journey; no matter whatever you plan.
Hasn't God taken care of the birds?
Read the Book of Matthew, Chapter 6, Verse 26:
“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?”
Now, ask yourself, aren't you much greater than the birds?
Read the Book of Matthew, Chapter 10, Verse 31:
“So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”
Ever wondered why we ask hopeless questions during turmoil?
“FAITH!,” that's the answer, the key to the divine truth.
Read the Book of Matthew, Chapter 17, Verse 20:
"Because you have so little faith.’ He answered. ‘For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."
Yes, Satan works day and night to destroy our faith in Jesus Christ and direct us astray from the Truth. Ultimately, we become the victims and lose peace. Some even become helpless to get back on track and get their souls locked up in Hell.
This is why the Lord says that you should seek out Jesus to help you increase your faith.
Read the Book of Luke, Chapter 17, Verse 5:
"The apostles said to the Lord, ‘Increase our faith!"
The questions to all your troubles are already answered on the Cross by our loving Father, Jesus Christ. All that you got to do is strengthen your trust in Him, day & night, and walk the path He leads you to go. If you do, you can be certain to see your enemies trembling and fleeing away from you!
Read the First Book of John, Chapter 1, Verse 7:
“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.”
May your faith be built on the Holy rock, so that you may stand strong and find peace within. Amen!
